Working Principle
During vehicle driving, the differential allows the left and right drive wheels to rotate at different speeds. When the car is driving in a straight line, the planetary gears in the differential revolve with the differential case, the left and right half-axle gears rotate at the same speed, and the wheels on both sides of the vehicle roll at the same speed. When the car turns, the outer wheel travels a longer distance than the inner wheel. The differential rotates the planetary gears to make the outer half-axle gear rotate faster than the inner half-axle gear, thereby achieving pure rolling of the wheels on both sides at different speeds, reducing the friction between the tires and the ground.
